城市街道尺度之辨

Remarks on Urban Street Scale

街道功能呈现多样化,中西方在塑造街道尺度时存在差异性。因此,本文提出针对街道尺度的辨析。分别从街道功能、路网框架、美学景观和人文社交4个视角展开并讨论大尺度与小尺度街道之利弊。最后指出:街道尺度必须充分考虑优先通行的交通方式,同时不能忽视街道的公共空间角色,并应以融合日常生活的多样性和各种各样的使用者为街道宽度设计原则。

As wel known, the street shows its diversification and sharpening street scale in urban China is clearly distinguished from abroad. So, this paper discussed the advantages and disadvantages of big scale and smal scale streets from the perspectives of street functions, road network framework, aesthetics and social contact. Results showed that the transport modes which are given right of passing priority must be taken into account before street scale design and meanwhile, the role of open space of streets should not be ignored. Final y, it suggested that streets should include and cover al kinds of daily life and users which is extremely important for street scale design.
