The paper summarizes self-organization theory,and then discusses the mechanism of self-organization evolution of S&T innovation system by the theory of self-organization.In the process of construction of regionnal or national S&T innovation system,it is very important,I think,to produce the momentum which aims at establishing the interactive relation of both competition and cooperation among innovators,and to create conditions which aims at providing institutional arrangement for growth of S&T innovation system,especially to bring down the ineffectiveness of institution.Finally,some inspirations or thoughts are put forth.
