Research Overview on Criminal Risk Assessment

如何预防犯罪,是人们始终关注的问题。而罪犯危险性评估,是解决这一难题的重要手段。在回顾、比较中西方危险性评估的理论发展与司法实践的基础上,尝试总结一些影响评估准确性的可能因素,分析指出中国应当建立"分类矫治为主、统计分析为辅"的评估模式,以实现跨越式发展,缩小与西方差距,提高评估准确性,降低再犯率,以保护社会利益、实现社会安定。

How to prevent crimes is an issue that people are always concerned about,and criminal risk assessment is a most important means to solve this problem.On the basis of reviewing and comparing the theoretical development and j uridical practice between China and Western countries,the paper makes an at-tempt to summarize some of the affecting factors on the veracity of assessment,and points out that China should establish an assessment model which is“based on classified correction and supplemented by statisti-cal analysisto achieve leapfrogging development,narrow the gap with the West,improve the accuracy of e-valuation,reduce the recidivism rate,and realize the goals of protecting the socil interests and achieve social stability.
