民国时期的中国植物学会

中国植物学会是民国时期一个重要的社团组织,其创办目的是"互通声气,联络感情,切磋学术,分工合作,以收集腋成裘之效,并普及植物学知识于社会,以收致知格物,利用厚生之效"。该学会"以谋纯粹及应用植物学之进步及其普及"为宗旨,通过发行《中国植物学杂志》、《中国植物学汇报》,举办年会,开展实地调查,致力于自主开展中国的植物学研究,推动了植物学的发展与进步。

Botanical Society of China was an important social organization during the period of the Re-public of China.Its founding purpose involves“connection,contact feelings,comparing notes in academics, share and cooperation and popularizing knowledge of botany in society to improve people’s living condi-tion.”Taking“to pursue purity and progress and popularization of applied botany”as the obj ective,the soci-ety established and issued Chinese Journal of Botany and Report of Chinese Botany,held annual meet-ings,developed field investigations,and devoted itself to the botanical studies of China,which greatly pro-moted the development and progress of botany.
