英汉“爱情”隐喻对比研究

Chinese and English "Love" Metaphor Study

本文以情感隐喻为研究课题,着重探讨爱情隐喻在英汉语中的异同。研究有两个方面的发现:首先,英汉语使用了许多相同的隐喻来理解和表达"爱",这是因为即使是不同种族的人们,都具有某些共同的生理和心理基础。其次,英语和汉语都有自己独特的爱情隐喻表达方式。这一结果说明:情感概念受不同思维模式和文化背景的影响,在不同语言中的表达呈现出一定的差异性。

In this paper, take emotional metaphor for research, focuses on the love metaphors in English and Chinese. Re-search has found two aspects:First, Chinese and English using many of the same metaphor to understand and express"love", this is because even people of different races, have some common physical and psychological foundation. Secondly, English and Chinese have their own unique way of expressing love metaphors. These results suggest that:emotion concept affected by different modes of thinking and cultural backgrounds, expressed in different languages showing some differences.
