自从新课改以来,教师们都开始适应应用以学生为主体的教学模式,开始摒弃传统教学方法当中的机械式接受内容,不与学生沟通互动的方式。而高年级的阅读教学,则对于教师与学生的沟通相当重要,它需要的是学生对于新生事物的理解,这一课程内容对于学生未来正确世界观的建立、品德和意志的良善培养,都能起到很好的作用。并且良好的阅读能力能够促进小学生语文能力水平的综合提高,这也是在小学语文教育中注重提高阅读教学的重要目的。
