语言是表达思想的工具,是文化的载体,修辞是语言表达的艺术。任何一种修辞手段都离不开其民族文化的影响。隐喻是历史最悠久、运用最普遍的修辞方式之一,它深受社会文化背景的影响,表现出明显的文化特征,集中体现了各个国家的文化差异。本文试图从文化差异角度对隐喻进行解读和阐释,目的在于揭示隐喻与文化之间不可分割的关系。

Language is a tool to express ideas, is the carrier of culture, rhetoric is the art of language expression. Any kind of rhetorical means are inseparable from the impact of their national culture. Metaphor is the oldest and one of the most com-mon use of rhetoric, it is heavily influenced by social and cultural background, showing a clear cultural identity, epitomizes the cultural differences of each country. This paper attempts to cultural differences in interpretation and interpretation of metaphor, the purpose is to reveal the integral relationship between metaphor and culture.
