Advances in Resource Distribution and Application of Calophyllum inophyllum L.in Ecological Protection on the Coast of Hainan Island

结合作者的实地系统调查结果,介绍了海南岛海岸带红厚壳资源的分布情况,综述了红厚壳的生态功能和生态防护应用上的有关研究,包括红厚壳的生物学特性、繁殖技术、栽培抚育技术和抗逆性,分析了红厚壳作为乡土树种在海南岛构建混交林型海防林上的应用潜力。

It was intoduced the resource distribution of Calophyllum inophyllum L. on the coast of Hainan Is-land combined with the authors' systematical survey there and it was reviewed the ecological functions and the applications in ecological protection of the tree species, including biological characteristics, propagation tech-nology, nursing and tending management and stress resistance of C.inophyllum. It was discussed the potential of C. inophyllum as local tree species being used in construction of mixed forest as coastal windbreak.
