For local colleges and universities, promoting self-assessment system of teaching and strengthening the self-assessment are not only the internal needs to improve themselves, but also the effective measures and approaches to improve the teaching quality. Based on the analysis on the current situation of teaching self-assessment in local colleges and university, the paper points out the problems, and puts forward the development direction and prospects of teaching self-assessment in local colleges and universities.
