图书馆在信息化时代将不再是传统意义上的知识宝库,而需要在自我"进化"中适应时代环境的变迁。复杂网络理论逐渐发展成熟,在图书情报领域得到广泛的应用,形成了一些热门的研究领域如文献引用网络、论文合著网络和共词知识网络等。同时,利用图书馆已有的数据,经过复杂网络的信息处理,可以为组织和个人提供更个性化的信息服务。

In the information age, libraries will no longer be the treasure house of knowledge in the traditional sense, and should able to adapt to changing with the environment and times during the its own 'evolution'. Complex networks theory has been gradually developed into maturation, and has been widely used in the field of library and information. Thus, some popular areas of research have been formed, such as citation networks, co-author networks of the paper and co-word knowledge network. Meanwhile, libraries should take full advantage of the existing data collected everyday, which can be analyzed by using complex networks method and subsequent information processing, to provide more personalized information services to organizations and individuals.
