“新理学”的现代化论与“现代性”思维的检讨

Theory of Modernization of the ″New Reasoning School″and the Thought of Modernity

本文由论述冯友兰文化观中有关现代化的思想，提出：把现代化仅仅理解为工业化是不够的，因为工业化的概念并未包容理性化市场经济的内涵。另一方面，不能把现代性仅仅了解为工具合理性。最后强调，在现代性问题上，应区分特殊主义的分析方式和实存的整全把握。

Beginning with the famous Chinese philosopher Feng Youlan’s theory of modernization,theessay put forth the argument that modernization consists of not just industrialization,because theconcept of industrialization does not include the connotation of rationalized market economy,Onthe other hand,it is also not proper to regard medernity as the rationalization of implements. Atthe end of the essay,the author emphasizes the point that we should distinguish particularisticapproach of analysis and a general mastery of the existing reality.
