A Systematic Analysis of the Poetic Style During the Prime Time of the Tang Dynasty

本文所探讨的是“盛唐之音”这个长期争论的热点问题，指出争论的主要原因是研究者普遍把盛唐之音这个的复杂的现象做了简单化的处理，只取其中一两个特征当作盛唐之音的全部内涵。文章认为，盛唐之音，即盛唐诗的总体风格，是一个复杂的系统，包括兴象玲珑、骨力遒劲、神采飘逸、平淡自然四点内容，由诗人的行为风范、思想性格、精神境界、表现手法、构思方式、审美观点六个因素在不同层次上共同作用的结果。文章运用系统论的方法，首次对风格的内在结构做了分析和规定。

n this essay,the author tries to explore the long-debated question of the poetic style duringthe prime time of the Tang Dynasty,pointing out that the main problem in the debate is thatmost researchers oversimplified the complicated phenomenon of prime Tang poetic style ,and of-ten take merely one or two characteristics as the whole connotation of the poetic style of theprime Tang period.According to the author,the poetic style during the prime time of the TangDynasty is a complicated system. It includes four major aspects :exquisiteness,vigorousness,ele-gance,and naturalness determined on various levels during the artistic creation of the poets by thetheir behavior, personality, realm of thought, means of expression, method of creation, and aes-thetic standards. Using the method of systematic analysis,the author defines for the first time theinternal structure of style.
