伊川鸦岭唐齐国太夫人墓

Excavation of a Tang Lady’ s Tomb at Yichuan, Yaling, Henan

唐齐国太夫人墓位于河南伊川县城西北约10公里,曾两次被盗掘。1991年进行了抢救性发掘,并追缴回大量文物。此墓出土文物达1659件,包括金银、玉石、铜、铁、铅、骨、陶瓷器等。其中双鱼纹海棠花型金盏、双鱼大雁银盏托等保存完好,极为精美;银提梁罐通体由两块银片焊接而成,并用六瓣花形铆钉铆接,造型奇特。金银饰品数量很大。玉器、骨雕等也十分精美。

The tomb is located within the territory of Yaling town, about ten km onrthwest of the county seat of Yichuan, Henan. In 1991, the rescue excavation took place after the tomb was robbed twice. Some of the loots, in passing, are recovered.The tomb is a single-chamber catacomb consisted of the tomb passageway, passage tunnel, small yard and tomb chamber. The funeral objects, things made of gold, silver, stone, jade, bone, bronze, iron, lead and pottery, are striking for their great amount and variiety of forms. The most remarkable examples include a gold cup decorated gorgeously with double fishes and flowers, a silver cup with double fishes and birds and a peculiar silver loop-handle jar whose two parts are welded together and reinforced with six floral rivets. The numerous goldware and silverware uncovered exhibit a diversity of shaping and craft. They may take the shape of a butterfly, a flower, a cloud and so on. A lot of turquoise, amber, crystal and agate ornaments are also found, most of them probably the inlaid parts of those goldware and silverware. Jade articles and bone carvings are also extremely exquisite.
