摘要
温州国安寺石塔所藏文物中,有一件《蚕母》风俗版画,作者认为是宋代木刻套色版印,为我国现存最早的木刻套印国。《蚕母》版国的发现,把我国套色版画的历史提早了近2个世纪。
Archaeologists from the Museum ran into a folk painting as they cleared the relics inside the pagoda at the Guo' an Temple. A scrutiny of the coexisted steles as wellas its typographical characteristics dates the painting to the Song dynasty. The earliest hitherto survival of colored wood—block paintings, according to scholars' consensus, is the illustration in Monk Tianwen's Exegesis of Vajrawutra (Diamond Sutra) printed by the Zifu Temple in the sixth year of the Zhiyuan reign found in 1941. The discovery of the present one adds two hundred years to the history.
