The management models of China's travel services have been subjects of practice and exploration for years. Recently the travel services have adopted various kinds of management models including in-service responsibility system, target responsibility system and contracting responsibility system. Their aim is to solve the problem of unification among 'obligation, authority and profit. The article makes a delicate analysis of the characterisitics, advantages and disadvantages of the abovementioned management models being operated in the travel services. The article holds that these three management models have their own merits as well as conspicuous defects and harmfulness. Therefore, the problem of unification of 'obligation, authority and profit' has not been settled satisfactorily.
