With the development of market economy in China, the guild associations will play a greater role in the social life. The article briefly introduces the founding of the Beijing Tourism Guild Association and its relevant organizational work as well as its functions. It also offers six suggestions for its subsequent development. The author is in charge of the Beijing Tourism Guild Association.
