复句的话题

汉语是注重话题(topic-prominent)的语言.汉语句子话题的研究,对于更好地揭示汉语语法的特点,对于汉语教学很有意义.已有的关于汉语句子话题研究的文献,大多把观察对象集中在单句范围内.本文打算在此基础上,探讨一下复句话题的特点、生成机制,以及有关的句子分析问题.

This paper deals with the topic of a compound sentence: its characteristics and generation process, and aspects of the analysis of a compound sentence. The main idea is as follows: Besides the topics of its clauses, a compound sentence may have a topic of the whole sentence; The topic of a compound sentence is not the result of 'topicalization' or 'inbedding of a clause into another' , but the projection of the topics of its clauses; The topic of a compound sentence, as a pragmatic constituent of the whole sentence, is beyond the syntactic structure of any of its clauses, though in some cases it may act as a syntactic constituent of a clause at the same time.
