On basis of the information concerned, the author makes a textual research on the identity of the Huihe ethnic group, explain why Yalavach and Mas'ud Beg (father and son) worked for the Mongol rulers, and describes their contributions in maintaining the unity of the Mongol Empire. It adds to the studies on the Moslin people in Yuan Dynasty.
