The Great Wall of Dunhuang Prefecture was finished about in the period of th,Yuanfeng元封era(110-105 BC). It stretches from southernwest Minze冥泽in the eastto Quze曲泽in the west. Its length is about more than three hundred kilometres.There were seven lines of beacon towers surrounding the city of Dunhuang Prefec-ture as follow. 1).Dunhuang-Gongchakou龚岔口;2). Dunhuang-Nankou南口; 3).Dunhuang-Yaoyue姚阅Beacon Tower;4).Dunhuang-Fanshishu矾石戍;5).Dunhuang-Dajiandu大煎都;6). DunhuangJianquanshu 碱泉戍;7).Dunhuang-Guazhou瓜州.
