语言与民族文化之间是紧密联系的，汉语和英语是源于不同民族文化的两种不同的语言，故无论是英语教学还是英汉互译皆经常涉及相关语言的民族文化，因而必须重视对于相关语言中文化蕴义的理解与表达。

Language and culturre are closely related, and Chinese and English are two different languages originating from different nations and cultures. The teaching of Engilsh and E-C(C-E)translation often involve the related ethnic cultures. Hence the importance attached to the culturalconnotation of the language concerned.
