On Reasons for the Argument "Development is Hard Reason"── A Basic Philosophical as Well as the Fundamental Guideline for Economic Work

邓小平同志在“南巡讲话”中提出了“发展才是硬道理”的名言。这一命题既是哲学的基本原理，也是经济工作的根本指导方针，当前十分需要加深对这个问题的认识。本文从哲学的角度对这一命题作了多方面的探讨。

In his 'Speeches During the inspection Tour in the South', Comrade Deng Xiaoping put forth his famous argument that 'Development is Hard Reason'. It is basic philosophical principle as well as a fundamental guideline for economic work. At present it is a must to gain a deeper-going understanding of this issue, and this essay is a multi- level study of this argument from the philosophical angle.
