摘要
EPT和TOEFL是在我国最为流行的两种英语水平考试。在教学过程中,经常会遇到这样的问题,这两种考试有什么相同点与不同点?教学上应用何种对策?要回答这些问题,首先要对EPT和TOEFL作对比分析。本文目的就是对这两种考试的阅读部分作较为全面的分析与比较,为同行们在教学、科研和测试实践中提供一点参考。
The present paper makes a comparative analysis of the language parameters, subjects, types of both writing and comprehension questions of the reading comprehension section of both EPT and TOEFL. The results show some differences as well as some similarities between the two kinds of tests. As a whole, the reading comprehension section of EPT is a little more difficult than that of TOEFL. Moreover, some suggestions are made on teaching practice to meet the needs of attacking the tests.
