he Dunhuang Manuscript P, 2528 is the text of Xi-jing-fu西京赋which wascopied in the second year of Yonglong永隆era(681 A,D);According to the record inthe end of the manuscript,we know that after it was copied in Hongji弘济Temple,Chang-an长安(now Xi-an西安)by a monk,it was brought to Dunhuang. AlthoughJIANG Fu蒋斧,LIU Shipei刘师培, GAO Buying高步瀛etc. already studied it one af-ter another,due to the paucity of references,many problems have remained untouchedand many of their commentaries have yet to be improved.In this paper,I compare themanuscript with LI Shan李善,Wen-xuan文选and a Song Dynasty block-printed edi-tion of the Xi-jing-fu and give 36 items commentaries about this manuscript.
