当今居住在美国、以色列、原苏联等地的犹太人仅有12806400人,虽然是一个比较小的民族,却在世界民族之林中占有非同小可的地位。它有着不同寻常的传奇经历、十分旺盛的生命力、举世瞩目的惊人才华,更有着别具一格的民族性格。本文仅对其民族特性作一初步探讨。

The Jewish is a comparatively minor nation but she plays an important role among the peoples in the world. This article is aimed to expound her characteristics initially. Firstly, the Jewish has been noted for her capacity of doing business. Subsistence forced her to engage in business during Middle Ages. As a result of rough and bumpy experience,she takes seeking wealth as a defensive mechanism. However, we must acknowledge that she has also had the moralities of mutual aid, unity and doing good. Secondly, the jewish posseses the natural instinct of loving knowledge extraordinarily and seeking rich intentionally. It is the natural instinct that has made the jewish people produce a great number of talented people, and made great contributions to the world civilization. Thirdly,the jewish people is a world-wide nation with a great cohesive forces It is the cohesive forces that give the people powerful vitality.
