中国社会的和谐稳定对于中国的改革发展意义重大。当前,滋长蔓延的政治腐败、持续扩大的贫富差距、剧烈变化的社会分层、变幻莫测的国际环境是影响中国社会和谐稳定的主要问题。政治稳定理论研究的代表人物塞缪尔-亨廷顿关于发展中国家政治稳定的相关论述对于中国社会的和谐稳定发展不乏有益的启示和参考。为维护和推进中国社会的和谐稳定发展,我们应确保政党的执政权威,提升中共的执政能力;保持适度的经济增长,实施渐进的改革战略;坚决遏制政治性腐败,消除威胁稳定的隐患;提高政治制度化水平,有序地吸纳政治参与。

Social harmony and stability are of great significance for China's reform and development.Currently,an increasing number of political corruptions,a widening gap between the rich and the poor,the drastic change in social stratification,and the vagaries of international environments are the main issues threatening China's social harmony and stability.Samuel Huntington is the representative of political stability theories.His discussion on political stability in developing countries is referential and insightful for China to develop a harmonious and stable society.In order to maintain a harmonious society and improve its stability,the governing party's authority should be improved;the Chinese Communist Party's ruling ability should be enhanced;a relatively rapid economic growth should be maintained;the strategies for progressive reforms should be developed;political corruption should be stopped;potential threats to stability should be eliminated;levels of political system should be raised,and orderly admissions to political participations should be implemented.
