东莞市大岭山镇不同人群艾滋病知识知晓率调查

Awareness rate of AIDS among different populations in Dalingshan town of Dongguan city

目的了解东莞市大岭山镇不同人群对艾滋病相关知识的知晓情况。方法 2012年9月至12月采用分层随机抽样方法对东莞市大岭山镇常住居民、校内青少年和流动人群进行艾滋病相关知识的认知情况调查。结果共发放问卷700份,收回有效问卷655份(93.6%)。常住居民、校内青少年和流动人群对艾滋病知识总体知晓率分别为85.0%、75.7%、77.9%。知晓率与文化程度成正相关(r=0.78,P<0.05),但与性别、年龄和民族无关。获得艾滋病知识的主要途径是电视(64.1%)、报刊(54.0%)、书籍(43.2%)。结论应加强对艾滋病相关知识的宣传力度并采取有效的健康教育手段,以遏制艾滋病的传播。

Objective To study the awareness rate of AIDS among different populations in Dalingshan town of Dongguan city. Methods Between September 2012 and December 2012, a questionnaire survey about AIDS-related knowledge was performed with stratified sampling among different populations including inhabitants, students and floating population. Results A total of 700 questionnaires were issued, of which 655 ones were valid(93.6%). The overall awareness rates of AIDS-related knowledge were 85.0%, 75.7% and 77.9% in inhabitants, students and floating population, respectively. The awareness of AIDS was positively correlated with degree of education(r=0.78, P<0.05), but not with sex, age and race. Television programs(64.1%), newspapers and periodicals(54.0%) and books(43.2%) were the main approaches to acquisition of AIDS knowledge. Conclusion The publicity of AIDS-related knowledge and measures of health education should be improved, so as to control the transmission of AIDS.
