世纪转折与中国人类学的前景─—五位在京青年学者的笔谈

The Turn of the Century and the Prospects of Chinese Anthropology

“人类学”这个学科名词在中国学术界已存在一个世纪了。但是，由于４０年的学科空白期的出现，人类学的发展在我国处于多重困境之中。从事这一学科研究的中国学者深刻地体会到，只有对它的学说与研究路径加以充分把握，并向社会阐明它的存在价值，人类学的学术地位才有可能真正得以确定。本文由五位青年人类学工作者的笔谈组成，它从不同的角度探讨了人类学对跨世纪文化理论、对文化变迁的观察、对文化价值体系的探索对于中国学术与社会发展所具有的重要贡献。通过不同角度的探讨，这五位青年人类学工作者还对本学科的建设提出了富有深度的看法。

Anthropology' as an academic concept has been known in China's academic circles for a whole century.Yet due to a 40 years'gap in this academic discipline,the development of anthropology is in an aggravated predicament in present-day China.Chinese scholars engaged in the study of anthropology deeply feel the need to grasp fully its theory and research methods and to expound its raison d'etre to the whole society in order that its academic position might be truly re-established.
