To some extent,immigration is an economic phenomenon throughout U. S.history. Some scholars conlude that immigrants have a negative impact on American employment and workers' wages,thus imposing burdens of relief on U. S.government. However, historical facts reveal that the opposite is true. Immigrants, viewed from whatever perspectives, have contributed more than what they have received from American society. Without immigration the United States would not have been what it is today in every sense.
