第一部分:基本问题—思想背景 1、中国文化:世界上最大、最丰富的文化矛盾现象。 20世纪世界文化带有一面倒的西方模式。因此,一方面一切非西方国家都以不同方式受到不同程度的西化;另一方面,西方各国对于非西方国家的文化也进行了大量研究。本世纪以来,西方和非西方国家之间的不同文化对话逐步增多,其中最富成果和令人鼓舞的是关于传统文化的研究。然而总的说来。
The article contains two parts: (1)possibility of semiotic approaches to Chinese humanities, and (2) structural tendency of traditional Chinese literature and arts. The constitution of the Chinese humanities, differently from that of social and natural sciences, makes it more difficult to communicate with modern humanities in general and semiotics can help decrease the difficulty. Chinese arts share the structural, formalist, symbolic traits reflecting a common structural tendency. The cases of poetry, painting, calligraphy, music and opera are outlined in term of a semiotic perspective to show the tendency.
