摘要
The Holy Bible is one of the greatest books in the world.It is not merely a book of region.It influences the history of the whole world as well as the languages and cultures of both the east and the west.We could find the traces of the influence of the Bible in the different forms of human heritage.This thesis will try to illustrate these traces with some idioms,proverbsand literary quotations from both theEnglish andthe Chinese literature.
