Marx and Engels' Views of Justice and Their Impact on Contemporary China

马克思恩格斯的正义观以历史唯物主义为基础、以消灭阶级为根本指向,但同时认为正义观念因不能脱离社会经济发展现实而具有特定历史阶段性内涵。中国共产党人在忠实于马克思主义原理、不放弃对正义的终极追求的同时,更为重视正义在现历史时期的现实性内涵,实事求是地运用马克思恩格斯的正义观于中国的经济、政治、社会的制度构建中。

Marx and Engels'views of justice are based on historical materialism and targeted at destroying class. Meanwhile, they argue that that the idea of justice has different connotations at different periods as it cannot exist independent of actual social and economic development. The CPC has always adhered to principles of Marxism and never given up on the ultimate pursuit of justice. Moreover, it now pays more attention to the actual connotation of justice in the current era and applies it in the development of China's economic, political, and social systems in a down-to-earth manner.
