The Application of PAW Automatic Welding on Low Temperature Stainless Steel Tank Manufacturing

摘要 PAW作为一种新型高能束焊接方法,焊接质量好,焊接热影响区和焊接变形小,弧柱温度高,能量密度大,对焊件加热集中和熔透能力强,尤其利用其小孔焊接技术,能够实现单面焊双面一次成型。利用此焊接方法的优点,成功应用到LNG深冷罐箱内外容器纵、环焊缝的焊接中,相对以往采用的SMAW和SAW,此项技术的应用明显提高了焊接生产效率和焊接接头性能,且大大降低了焊接成本。 PAW is a new high-energy beam welding method with the characteristics of good quality welding, narrower welding heat affected zone and small welding deformation, whose arc column with high temperature and large energy density, which centralizes heating on pieces and enhances the capacity of penetrating welding pieces, particularly when using small hole welding technology, the double-sided molding per single-welded welds can be achieved. Due to these advantages, PAW was successfully applied to the longitudinal and circumferential welds in inner and outside tanks of the LNG cryogenic container. Compared with using SMAW and SAW, the application of this technology significantly improved welding productivity and performance of welded joints, and greatly reduced welding costs.
