The effects of hospice care practical services on the enhancement of nursing students' professional qualities in vocational colleges

目的:通过临终关怀实践服务,培养护生职业素养。方法:对20名护生临终关怀志愿者进行理论知识培训,组织参加临终关怀实践活动28次,并采用质的研究方法对临终关怀实践活动实施成效进行评估。结果:参与临终关怀实践活动既培养了护生良好的护理职业道德,巩固了专业知识,强化了职业技能,同时又激发了护生对专业强烈的求知和探索动机,并形成了健康的职业情感。结论:临终关怀实践服务对提升护生职业素养有积极的作用。

[Objective]Hospice care can provide comprehensive physical and psychological care and support for the dying patient so as to improve the patients' quality of life,maintain their dignity and make them finish the last journey of life peacefully. What's more,nursing students' vocational qualities are developed.[Metbod]To begin with,20 nursing volunteers of hospice care received training on theories and knowledge.Then,they were organized to participate in practice activities 28 times.Finally, qualitative research methods were applied to assess the effectiveness of the implementation of the practice of the hospice care.[Result]Nursing students participated in the practical activities of the hospice care develop their professional nursing ethics,consolidate their expertise,strengthen their professional skills,stimulate their strong motivation for the exploration of the professional knowledge and develop healthy professional feelings.[Conclusion]The practice of hospice nursing services has positive effects on the enhancement of nursing students' professionalism.
