American social philosopher and psychoanalyst E. Fromm discourses on the moral choice theory from the psychological angle. He is,on one hand,against the conventional freedom of will;and on the other hand,disagrees with determinism. According to his theory,as long as people are aware of the unconscious forces behind behaviors,they can obtain the choosing ability so that the causal sequence in the process of development can be altered.
