"夷夏之辨"是汉代公羊学理论的重要组成部分。从公羊学的奠基之作《公羊传》,到形成公羊学的关键人物董仲舒,再到公羊学的集大成者何休,他们的夷夏观具体反映了这一理论的发展轨迹。夷夏之辨,从本质而言,其实就是一个民族文化认同问题,而这种民族文化认同,却对民族统一国家的形成和发展有着重要的影响。

Yixia debating is an important component of Gongyang studies theory in Han Dynasty.From the ground-breaking study of Gongyang for 'Gongyangzhuan' to Dong Zhongshu,the key role of the formation of Gongyang studies,also to Hexiu,the culminant figure of Gongyang studies,their Yixia concept reflects the development of this theory.In essence,Yixia debating is a culture identity.However,this national cultural identity has an important influence on the formation of national unity and development.
