摘要
分析了渗氮件硬度极高而接触疲劳强度不很高的原因。分析表明:渗氮件接触疲劳强度不够高的主要原因是渗氮层厚度太薄;在重载荷条件下,是靠低强度区(过渡区)抵抗接触疲劳破坏,故渗氮件硬度虽很高,但接触疲劳强度却不很高。
Reasons for why a nitrided part has high hardness and lower contact fatigue strength are analyzed in the paper.The results show that the major reason for the lower contact fatigue strength of the nitrided part is that nitrided layer is very thin and the shearing stress is resisted by lower strength zone(transition zone) of the nitride layer when a heavy load is borne by the part,therefore the nitrided part has lower contact fatigue strength and high hardness.
