Sheet metal stamping is a critical processing technology for automotive panel parts.This paper underscores its importance and details various defects(crack,thinning,and crimple) in the stamping process.Influencing factors such as material properties,mold profiles,processing parameters are analyzed.Numerical analysis was performed on an engine spiral casing.Influencing factors were highlighted in the example,and finally solutions were provided to avoid the defects.
