摘要
本文讨论了数据库中多媒体数据的处理方法,并以VB+Access、VB+SQL Server为例讨论了如何对多媒体数据进行存取。前者主要采用数据访问对象(DAO)的AppendChunk和GetChunk方法,后者主要采用ActiveX数据对象(ADO2.5版)中的Stream对象。对这两种对多媒体数据的操作方法进行了比较,对所涉及的Windows API作了介绍。
The former mainly uses Appedchunk and Getchunk methods of Data Access Object(ADO),which mainly uses stream object in Activex Data ObjectCADO 2.5 rersion.How to access a multimedia is discussed in VB+Access and VB+SQL server as an example methods of multimedia data processing in database are studid in the paper.The two methods of processimg multimedia data are compared,and windows API that is relation with the methods is introduced.
