本文综述了稀土的生物效应,包括了稀土的毒性,稀土在有机体内分布、运移、稀土对人和动物的致癌、致畸的作用以及影响。环境条件对稀土元素迁移及生物可利用性。可消除机体内有害自由基的"清除"论点,既其活泼的化学性质和强络合能力决定了在一定条件下可能成为有机体内有害自由基的清除剂。

This paper reviews the biological effects of rare earth. It includes the toxicity of rare earth,rare earth distribution and migration in the organic body,leading carcinogenic,teratogenic and impact for human and animal caused by rare earth,impact of environmental condition for migration of rare earth elements and bioavailability. Under certain conditions,lively chemical properties of rare earth and its strong complexing ability could be scavenger of free radicals in organism.
