高校学报是期刊的特殊领域,在学术交流和"科教兴国"战略中都起着举足轻重的作用,但由于历史和体制的原因,在如今期刊市场的激烈竞争中其弊端也逐渐显露。《乌鲁木齐成人教育学院学报》伴随着时代的发展更迭,走向了总结,回顾它的历程,从而探讨期刊的发展,并试图找出发展的途径。

Journals of higher schools are a special field of periodicals,which play a decisive role in the strategy of academic exchanges and 'science and education making the country prosperous'.Nevertheless,due to different reasons,especially to the historical and system reasons,journals of higher schools expose their defects to the world in the fierce rival of periodical market.'Journal of Urumqi Adult Education Institute' goes to its end with the development of times,and so here in its last issue,we go back to look through its development history and discuss the development of periodicals,wishing to find a way to the better growth of journals of higher schools.
