摘要
可译性问题向来为译界所关注,由于英汉语言与文化的差异,语言中确有不可译者,但不可译是相对而不是绝对的。作为译者,我们既要承认有"不可译"现象,又要千方百计运用诸多创造性翻译变"不可译"为"可译"。创造性翻译不是背离,而是为了更好的忠实于原文,再现原文。本文结合笔者自己的译文从这方面进行了讨论。
The issue of translatability never fails to be a hot topic in translation field,because of the differences between cultures and languages.The translators should not only realize the existence of"un-translatable"but also try all possible means to render"un-translatable"into"translatable".This paper attempts to discuss from this aspect with vivid examples.
