A logistic regression analysis of risk factors of pain in root cannal therapy

目的探讨根管治疗期间疼痛的危险因素,为提高临床疗效提供依据。方法2006年1月至2009年3月于泸州医学院附属隆昌医院对426颗患牙行根管治疗,对可能是根管治疗期间疼痛的危险因素进行Logistic回归分析。结果根管治疗期间疼痛的发生率为19.25%,通过Logistic回归分析发现:操作不慎、根管超充、封药不当以及牙位等是其危险因素。结论针对上述危险因素,应尽早采取防治措施,提高根管治疗的疗效和安全性。

Objective To explore the risk factors of pain in root cannal therapy. Methods The likely related risk factors of pain in root cannal therapy for 426 diseased teeth which were treeted during January 2006 to March 2009 were given logistic regression analysis. Results The incidence rate of pain in root canal therapy was 19.25%. The results showed that wrong operation and excessive root canal filling and incorrect sealed drug and tooth position were four independent risk factors. Conclusion It is nesessary for clinicians to pay more attentions to these factors and to take preventive procedure at early stage in order to reduce the incidence as much as possible and improve the effect and safety of root canal therapy.
