Foreign language study is a very complicated process,during which various factors can affect the results of foreign language study.This article discusses several important individual differences between learners,such as age,intelligence,language aptitude,learning strategy,cognitive style,motivation,attitude,personality and affective factors with the hope of helping the foreign language teachers and learners to know more about the law of studying foreign languages and to explore the most effective ways of teaching and learning for themselves.
