在传统世界地图上难以表示通过北极地区的东北航道与西北航道、以及我国北极科考的航线路径,航线的长度和方向都会出现极大的变形。本文以自主创编的新版《系列地图》为基础、结合有关历史资料和雪龙号北极科考的实际航线,使北极航道和我国北极科考航线在世界地图上得到了准确地表示,并与传统世界地图进行了比较,探讨了新编世界地图优越性,为我国的北极科考事业提供了一种新的图形工具。

It is difficult to express navigation track in Arctic region on the traditional world map because of the large deformation on length and orientation of the course of Chinese Arctic scientific expedition.Combining with related historic data and the real course of the exploration ship Xuelong,this paper gives an exact expression of the course of Chinese Arctic expedition based on new edition 'series of world map'.Compared with the old expression on traditional world map,the advantages of the new expression is outstanding.The new edition series world map can provide a new graph tool to Chinese Arctic scientific exploration.
