摘要
信息共享是Internet应用的本质要求,开放性与共享性也是WebGIS的发展方向。根据WebGIS的特点,浅析了XML技术对WebGIS的支持性及其应用在WebGIS数据管理方面的优势,讨论基于XML的WebGIS实现模型,研究利用XML技术在Web上实现GIS数据共享的方法。
The essential requirement of Internet application is data sharing,the development of webGIS also directs toward opening up and sharing.According to the characteristic of WebGIS,the author introduces the technique of extensible markup language(XML) into web GIS and the advantage of data management based on XML,discusses the implementation model of XML-based WebGIS.By using technology of XML,a study is then made on the method of implementing GIS data sharing on web.
