通过对短篇小说《被遗弃的韦瑟罗奶奶》与《献给艾米莉的玫瑰花》的作者创作风格和作品情节介绍,着重对比分析了作者如何运用意识流的技巧动静结合地塑造出其经典的人物形象——饱经风霜仍倔强不屈的南方劳动妇女Weatherall和高贵迷人而乖张孤僻的南方贵族小姐Emily。
With the introductions to the authors' creating styles and the works' plots in The Jilting of Granny Weatheralll and A Rose for Emily,the paper focuses on the comparisons of characterization in analyzing the classical characters——Granny Weatherall,an experienced but persistent working-class woman and Miss Emily,an charming but solitude upper-class lady.
