用福柯的权力话语理论来解读影片《肖申克的救赎》,清楚地看到影片在以"明线"——自由主义和个人主义为核心价值建构美国主流意识形态;也可以同时看到影片以"暗线"——知识/话语——权力来建构美国主流意识形态。影片内两条线共同实现着维护和稳定美国主流意识形态的作用。

This paper attempts to use Foucault's power-discourse theory to analyse the film The Shawshank Redemption.We can clearly find in the film an 'explicit line': using the liberalism and individualism as the core value to construct the American mainstream ideology.With the theory,we may also find an 'implicit line': knowledge/discourse and power in the film to do as the same.All these functions to maintain and stabilize the American mainstream ideology.
