Application of WebGIS to Informational Building of Forest Resources Management in China

随着信息化和网络的飞速发展,传统的森林资源管理手段已远远不能满足经济社会对林业的各种需求,林业信息化已成为林业发展的必然趋势,森林资源的不同地理位置分布和森林资源信息管理部门的地域分散性和层次性决定了森林资源信息管理必需要有网络化空间信息系统的支持。WebGIS在森林资源信息管理中的应用,使这些分散的资源和管理组织部门达到有机统一。文章主要阐述了WebGIS的概念、特征及其在我国森林资源管理信息化建设中的应用。

With the rapid development of networks and information,the traditional forest resource management has been far from enough to meet the diverse needs of the economic community to forestry,forestry informationization has become an inevitable trend of development,the different geographical distribution of forest resources and the decentralization of forest nresource information management departments decide the necessary to have a network-based spatial information system to support the in the forest resources information management.The application of WebGIS to forest resource information management makes the organic unification of forest resources and forest resources management departments.The conception,characteristics of WebGIS and the application of WebGIS to the information building of forest resource management in China were expounded.
