For data security management, the small and medium-sized enterprises need the solutions that are consistent with their own technology and can achieve various functions such as Internet access control, centralized data management, and backup and recovery of computer system, etc. According to these requirements, the paper presents a Linux-based data security management solution for small and medium-sized enterprises and also introduces the detailed implementation of key technology in the solution. The small and medium-sized enterprises data security management system (referred to as SMEDSMS) designed by the solution can effectively meet the data security management requirements of the small and medium-sized enterprises.
