Legislation of Urban Planning in France in the 20th Century and Its Inspirations to China

针对20世纪最后10年我国城乡建设加速发展的新变化,自2000年8月起,建设部开始进行《城乡规划法》的起草和修订工作。法国作为现代城市规划的发源地之一,早在第一次世界大战以后就开始进行城市规划立法工作。尽管中法两国的城市规划法规体系存在许多不同,但是法国在20世纪的城市规划立法经验对于今天我国的城市规划立法工作可以提供有益的启发。

Regarding the new tendency of accelerating development of construction in both the urban and rural areas of China,the Ministry of Construction has set out since August 2000 to draft the new Law of Urban and Rural Planning. As one of the sources of modern urban planning,France had seen the legislation of urban planning at the beginning of the 20th century after the First World War. Though there are a lot of differences between France and China in terms of legislation of urban planning,the rich experiences of France in this field in the 20th century will be inspiring to today's China.
